Description

This HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY) position is located within a Military Personnel Flight (MPF) of an Air National Guard (ANG) flying wing and is part of the CA 146 AW.

THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT PROMOTION

The primary purpose of the HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), GS-0201-9, is to administer and accomplish functions of one or more of the following human resources programs: Career Enhancements, Customer Service, Employments, Relocations, and/or Readiness.

May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.

HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY), GS-0201-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by performing duties such as: Processes used in human resources programs associated with DoD, U.S. Army, or U.S. Air Force; Providing training to supervisors on all military human resources issues; Providing administrative control, management, development and advisory service for military awards and decorations; Experience within the MPF for various entitlement programs (i.e., TRICARE medical/dental, Survivors Benefit Plan, Thrifty Savings Plan (TSP), Family Care Program, etc).
