This LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST position, is located in the S-4 section of Brigade/Group/Troop Command and is part of the CA 1106 TASMG.

THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION

The primary purpose of the LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-9, is to function as the Senior Logistics NCO of the organization responsible for oversight and execution of logistics plans, activities, and actions.

May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.

General Experience: Possess experience, education or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field; experience using computer and automation systems.

LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-9: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-07 level, in: detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities). Experience planning and organizing work assignments.

Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: A master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work required.
