Description
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. GS-09
grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Preparing threat assessments for personnel and assets which have anti-terrorism responsibilities; 2) Updating plans, manuals, and instructions to provide recommendations regarding changes to security specifications; 3) Conducting inspections of mission essential vulnerable assets, arms, ammunition, and explosive storage facilities and critical infrastructure; 4) Conducting classroom, formal, and informal training on crime prevention and physical security awareness programs; 5) Serving as a Loss Prevention Technical Specialist/ Security Advisor for the installation during meetings. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Part of the work will take place in an outdoor environment. Incumbent can expect to be called upon to conduct on-site surveys of discrepancies in the field periodically. Such work will include driving, walking, and occasionally hiking.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The risks and discomforts imposed by an outdoor environment are minimal to an individual in reasonably good physical condition. Incumbent is responsible for accomplishing assigned work in a manner that will assure his own safety and the safety of others.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
Have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
OR
Have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled
.OR
Have a combination of experience and education that equates to one year of experience. Percentage of education plus percentage of experience must equal 100%.

Salary
86,199.00 - 112,053.00 Annual
