Location: Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA

University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach on-site at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA for the Communications program. Specifically, we are seeking faculty for the following course:

Foundations of Oral Communications (SPCH 100):
(Fulfills the prerequisite for all upper-level SPCH courses.) An introduction to oral communication, with emphasis on interpersonal communication, small-group communication, and public speaking. The objective is to prepare speeches, provide feedback to others, and participate in group activities.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree in a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning

  • Professional experience in communications or related field

  • Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred.

  • This position is specifically to teach onsite at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA.
