We are hiring Cooks!

Some responsibilities include:

  • Follows recipes and or production directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting and baking. Variation to recipes needs to be discussed with the Executive Chef.
  • Cooks a variety of food including but not limited to pizza, burgers, soup and salads on the cafeteria line in front of our customers or follows approved recipes to create entrees in the kitchen.
  • Cleans and sanitizes work area and kitchen equipment.
  • Label time and date on all leftovers, storing them according to military guidelines.

Skills:

- Experience as a cook in a professional kitchen
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Must have your own transportation to worksite on base. The dining facility is open 7 days/week during the hours of 4:30am–8:00pm. LOVARC has a drug-free workplace policy, and all job offers are contingent on the applicant passing a pre-employment drug screen.
